Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke one of the most successful Pole Vaulters in the world was born on 22 March 1989 in Newport Beach California United States. A photo of her track meets when she was 17 became viral in 2007. It made her a the pole vaulter of her dreams. The athlete has gained a massive social following on Instagram as well as Twitter. Stokke is a well-known track and fields athlete, as is Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times noted, in addition to other things, that Stokke did not seek or soliciting attention from the media. In their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case to that of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo female athletes who were treated as fetishized and were seen as having their images as sexually distorted in a manner which, according to the authors, diminished their accomplishments in sport. Stokke was also the subject of comments made on social media that were insulting and the authors attributed the entire process of sexualizing the women. A lot of people drew comparisons to Brandi's triumphant celebration during the FIFA World Cup Final in 1999 in her sports t-shirt. Sporting events for women were often overshadowed due to discussions regarding their appearance. Images of Stokke performing during New York early 2007, were published on the internet by a Californian journalist for a track and fields website. With Leather, an online magazine for sports with lots of male fans commented on Stokke's attractiveness in the month of May. The story was entitled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and barely legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the site that the image was featured on was threatened with a lawsuit from the photographer if the picture were not taken down. The article did however receive an enormous amount of attention from other websites and also the picture was widely shared. Stokke was soon the subject of a website dedicated to her, which contained several images of Stokke taking part in pole vault. The images were quickly shared across social media as well as online fan groups, which attracted thousands. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She was determined to complete her high school graduation in Florida. In 1974, Alyce decided to take a new direction in her career through an internship. Alyce was proudly brought up by a professor's daughter. She's supported by her family and works as an assistant professor at the local university. Alyce is a part of her family living in Texas as her father works for The U.S. Army. In three years they celebrated their father's 92nd birthday. Alyce has used social networking to express her gratitude for his time in the U.S. Army, and to show off her stunning daughter. Alyce's daughter is also more focussed on her studies. She has earned the National Merit Scholarship at the University of Washington and celebrated 22nd birthday 2022.
