Angela Sun
Angela Sun (born October 19 1979 in the Santa Clara County of California) is an American journalist, TV presenter and sportscaster. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing and was a participant in numerous pro-am Surf events which led to her being sponsored by major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. Sun was enticed into the world of entertainment by the recognition that she received. Later on, she went on to become a film director, investigative reporter and sportscaster. Sun worked as an anchor on newscasts for a variety of channels. Sun was the Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In 2012, she hosted American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. Sun was the first Asian American to be featured in ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun is a regular in a number of films and has received not only praise but also fame for her acting prowess. She's appeared in numerous movies, such as Goliath (2017) Hit the Floor (2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009) Shackled (2015) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2005). In 2014, Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the feature-length documentary about marine pollution caused by plastic and the impact it has on the ecosystem. Sun wrote, directed and produced herself.
