Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American musician, producer and singer also writes. Her most famous part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's produced, directed and appeared in her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also acted as her bridesmaid in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was the younger child from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on the 8th of January 1977. Danielle, her sister is an accomplished artist. The father of her is Jewish as is her mom. She was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending a Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Benson's acting career has been booming following the ending of Buffy. She was in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Behind the camera Benson also used her talents as a writer to write her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy states that she's identified and counted as many as 1800 Slayers with 500 who work with Scooby Gang. Scooby Gang. Slayers are now able to be revived as they reach the right maturity.
